Policies:

We welcome referrals from agencies, churches, and schools for people in our area who need assistance. Our mission is to provide food, clothes, and help with utility bills.

All those requesting food and/or clothing should bring a completed referral, picture ID, and their Social Security Card to the OA office so that we can serve them. Agencies should call (727) 822-1187 during operating hours regarding clients who need help with utility bills. Here are the regulations on how often they can receive assistance from OA:

Clothes for infants and children
Once every three months

Once a Month
  
Help with utility bills
Once every 6 months
$25.00 maximum
(the bill must be less than $125)

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30am to Noon

Assistance Available Onsite with Written Referral
Clothing for infants and children through high school age
(once every 3 months with one referral)
Groceries for families
(once a month with a new referral needed each time)

Assistance Available through Agency Phone Referral
Utilities payment up to $25 paid direct to company if bill is under $125
(twice a year, six months apart, new referral needed each time)

Social Security card required for all persons receiving service
